Chicago Bears Tickets

By Seth Taylor

The Chicago Bears are one of the most popular teams in the NFL.  They are 1 of the 2 original teams since the NFL was founded, along with the Arizona Cardinals. The Bears are currently the winningest franchise in the NFL compiling over 700 victories.

They also hold the title as the NFL team with the most Hall of Fame players with 26 primary members overall.  They have such notable members such as Walter Payton, Mike Singletary and Gale Sayers.

The team became very popular in the 80s as they won the Super Bowl in 1985.  The Bears even recorded a Grammy nominated rap song, The Super Bowl Shuffle the year that they won the Super Bowl.

However, what made it so interesting was the fact that they recorded the song before the playoffs even started that year! I can only imagine how disappointing it would have been if they got knocked out early in the playoffs.  However, they went on to win it all in dominating fashion with a victory of 46-10.

The Chicago Bears became a popular team in pop culture from their Super Bowl Shuffle hit.  They also were the subject of Saturday Night Live skits and commercials.

Although they are not as difficult to get as say Green Bay Packers tickets or Pittsburgh Steelers tickets, the popularity of the team does make obtaining Chicago Bears tickets somewhat of a challenge.

The Chicago Bears have 2 different season tickets: PSL season tickets and Non-PSL season tickets.  They are both currently sold out.

Season Tickets

PSL Season Tickets

PSLs (Permanent Seat Licenses) give the owner the right to purchase season tickets for a particular seat.  This right can be sold or transferred to another person.  In order to obtain a PSL you must pay a one-time fee.

The PSLs for Chicago Bears tickets currently range from $2,400 to $10,000. Once you pay the one time fee for the PSL you then must buy the season tickets which currently range from $68 to $350 per game.

The PSL marketplace is where PSL owners buy and sell their PSLs.  When PSL season tickets are sold out this is the only way to acquire PSL season tickets.

Non-PSL Season Tickets

Non-PSL season tickets are also currently sold out.  In order to be placed on the waiting list a $100 non-refundable deposit is required.  The deposit is credited toward the purchase price of season tickets when you purchase them.

Presently there is an estimated 3,500 people on the waiting list for Chicago Bears tickets.

Individual Tickets

Although season tickets are sold out there are still ways to get into the games.

The first step that you want to take is to check Ticketmaster to see what tickets they have available. Even when season tickets are sold out some individual tickets may be available through Ticketmaster.

Then you also want to check Stubhub to see what prices they have.  You can sometimes find good deals here.

You also want to check out the prices at ticket brokers.  I recommend TicketNetwork since they usually have some of the best prices and are reliable. A trick to buying from a ticket brokers is to not buy too soon.

What I mean by this is to buy about 5-7 days before the game starts for the best price.  Brokers don't want to be left with useless tickets so they usually start cutting prices closer to game day.
